What do you think homes will look like in the future? Do you think robots will help take care of our homes? Or maybe our kitchens will cook our food.
For now, we have devices to turn our homes into smart homes. Smart homes have gadgets that can be controlled by our phones and tablets. You could turn the lights on and off with your phone. You could start your washing machine when you're not even home. Try turning on the music with just your voice! Many gadgets have sleek designs that blend right into your home.
Some people like to install smart door locks. They have a sensor, which allows them to know when you are home. When you are in front of your door, the door will automatically unlock. You don't have to look for your keys ever again!
Many green buildings are being made. A green building tries not to hurt our environment from the very beginning. It tries to use less energy and water. This starts from the planning stage and continues on from there. Green buildings try not to disturb the nature surrounding them.
One way to be more green is to use solar energy. Solar energy is energy from the sun. We can use solar panels to take in the sun's energy. This energy can be used to make power for our homes. You can find some prefab homes with solar panels.
The A.I. world has seen rapid development. A.I. refers to machines being able to act like the human mind. This can include taking in information, learning, and making decisions. It may seem simple for us, but this is hard for machines to do. For now, there isn't anything that can think like a human.
Our homes have seen many changes in the last decades. We can control our homes with our voices. We can control our home with a device in hand. These ideas were unthinkable just decades ago. How do you think homes will change in the future?
