Without science, we wouldn't be able to uncover all the mysteries of the universe. Here are some examples of different terms relating to the science of space.
The force of an object that pulls other things towards it. All things have gravity, but the biggest things have the most noticeable gravity. Planets and suns for example, have massive gravities that we can observe. A person falling is pulled to the earth's gravity.
The combination of gases within an atmosphere.
The combination of gases that are pulled towards a planet, forming a "shell" of gases over a planet.
Pressure is the force exerted by something. If you push something, you are exerting pressure on it.
A circular path that a celestial object follows around a larger celestial object. Orbits are initiated by gravity.
Eclipses are formed when the shadow of a planet or moon is cast upon another planet or moon.
Something that relates to the sun. A solar flare is a flare of the sun.
Something related to the moon. A lunar phase is a phase of the moon.
Cosmology is the study of the beginning and ends of the universe.
Something related to space. A celestial object is an object that belongs to space.
