Employer
An employer is a person who pays other people to do work.
Employee
An employee is a worker. An employee works for an employer.
Staff
The staff is all the people who work for an organization or company.
Industry
Jobs are divided into industries. An industry is a category of jobs, where the jobs are similar.
Wage
Your wage is how much you are paid for your job.
Office
An office is usually an indoor place where you work at a desk.
Interview
When you want to get a job, most companies or employers will do an interview with you.
An interview is where the employer asks you questions and decides if you are the best person for the job.
An employer will usually interview many people before deciding on one person.
Hire
When an employer chooses someone to start working, they hire that person.
When someone is hired, they start working at that place.
Manager
A manager is a person at work who supervises your work and helps you.
At work, you will have a manager who is making sure that everyone is doing their job right.
Many companies will have more than one manager. Each manager is in charge of some employees.
Company
A company is a business.
