Part One: Warm Up
Discuss the following questions with your partner(s).
- Have you ever written a letter or an email to a company or business? If so, what was it about?
- Do you think companies take messages from customers seriously? Why or why not?
- Is it important to say thanks to someone? Why or why not?
- When was the last time you saw a company or business do something that you admired?
Part Two: Getting Ready To Write
In Listening 5-2, you heard workers at a design company discussing how to make their communication more inclusive. In this lesson, you’ll look at some positive responses from their customers and learn how to write messages of appreciation in general.
