- Students work in groups of three to four.
- Together, students look at the following pictures and describe what they see with a Noun Clause, using who or what. This is a similar activity to Exercise #4 in Grammar 7-1.
- Students should make at least two example sentences for each picture: one using what or who as the subject and one using what or who as the object of their Noun Clauses.
Example:
This is what I had for breakfast this morning. (What as Object of Noun Clause)
This is what was served with my eggs at the restaurant. (What as Subject of Noun Clause)
