Person 1: what's new?

Jason: Oh, not much.

Person 1: What did you do yesterday?

Jason: I went to the park.

Person 1: Oh, really? What did you do at the park?

Jason: I played basketball with my friends.

Person 1: Did you win?

Jason: No, my team lost.

Person 2: What did you do last night Lisa?

Lisa: I saw a movie with my sister.

Person 2: Did you enjoy it?

Lisa: Not really. No.

Person 2: Why didn't you enjoy the movie?

Lisa: It just wasn't very interesting. I was bored. My sister wanted to see it, not me.

Jason: Oh, hey Mark. I didn't see you at Emily's party on Saturday.

Mark: Yeah, I didn't go.

Jason: So what did you do then?

Mark: I just watched TV and read the newspaper at home.

Jason: Oh. That's not very interesting.

Mark: It is for me.

Person 3: Hey Melissa, what did you do yesterday?

Melissa: I went to Seattle to see a football game.

Person 3: A football game?

Melissa: Yeah, my brother loves it. He was a football player.

Person 3: Really?

Melissa: Yes, but he retired 10 years ago.

Person 3: Cool. So you went to the game and then came home?

Melissa: No, we went shopping after the game and then had dinner.

Person 3: Wow. What time did you come home?

Melissa: We arrived last night at 12 o'clock. I'm tired today.
