2024 will be a year of challenges but definitely a year of opportunities

2024-02-02

As we dive into 2024, it will be a year of opportunities as we all see change ahead in education. The post covid wave has been a struggle, but it has presented chances to adapt and evolve. The need for English fluency has increased and the urgency for technology based curricula solutions that are effective, motivational, and affordable are at the forefront.

At Smrt English, our vision remains clear: to take language learning into a future that empowers teachers and students. We are committed to growth in technology that will meet their needs now and in the future to enhance fluency and motivation. This year, AI has taken the lead in our discussion and we integrate new opportunities into our curriculum revisions.

We recognise the power of AI in education. Our commitment is to prepare students for a future where AI is integrated into their lives. We value the potential for AI in education and even more importantly appreciate how it will change the way businesses and individuals communicate, research, write, and obtain information. Our students will use AI in an ever increasing way during their lifetime and education must embrace and morph to fit this new norm.

In line with our focus to support educators, we will continue to provide templates and system features to integrate their own materials into the Smrt system. Our philosophy is a blended approach, not discarding any ideas but integration of the best of the past and the new exciting ideas weaved together.

In the face of economic, political, cultural shifts some ideas may falter, but we believe in the strength of those that do develop into stronger and better versions of their previous selves. We embrace this challenge.

2024 will be the Year of the Dragon. Inspired by the dragon’s fearless nature, we have adopted a bold approach for the year ahead. “Dragons are not afraid of challenges and are willing to take risks . They strive to break away from traditional norms and pave the way for a brighter future” (The China Review, 2024).

Join us on our journey this year as we embrace change and tackle challenges head -on and create an empowered future for all.
