  • The grammar tense for the partner's answer is provided, so students should correct each other's answers if the incorrect tense is used.

  3. Have you watched a crime tv show this week? What about last week? (First answer should be present perfect, second should be past tense)
  4. What is the most difficult thing you have ever cooked? (Ask for details - partner should answer in the past tense)
  5. What did you recently watch that you didn't like? (Partner should answer in the past tense)
  6. Have you been following the news all week? (Partner should use present perfect continuous to correct the duration)
  7. What have you heard about in the news today? (Partner should answer in the present perfect)
  8. Do you listen to crime podcasts?
    1. If "yes": How long have you been listening to crime podcasts?
    2. If "no": When was the last time you listened to a crime podcast?
  1. Have you heard of any interesting crime cases in the last month? (Partner's answer should be in the present perfect)
    1. If "yes": What kind of case was it about? (Partner's answer should be in the past tense)
    2. If "no": How long has it been since the latest news on the case ? (Partner's answer should be in the present perfect: "It's been...since I last followed up on it.")
  2. Is the case now open or closed? Why? (Partner's answer should be in the present perfect to explain the present result)
