A statement is a sentence that tells us something.

A question is a sentence that asks us something. Questions always end with a question mark (?)
- Do you like reading?
- Can you draw?
- What sports do you play?
A command is a sentence that tells us to do something.
- Read your book.
- Do your homework.
- Go to bed.
An exclamation is a sentence that tells us something surprising or exciting. An exclamation always ends with an exclamation mark (!)
- The book was amazing!
- Ouch, my finger!
- Look at that!
