A: What did you do on the weekend, Steve?
B: My wife and I drove to Los Angeles. We drove down on Friday night and came back late last night. We had to wait in traffic for almost three hours.
A: Three hours? Yikes. __________ a lot of people coming back from Los Angeles.
B: Yeah, I think next time we'll drive at night.
A: Yeah, good call.
A: Hey Mike, have you ever thought about going on a road trip? You love seeing new places.
B: Oh, yeah - all the time. I think it would be perfect for me.
A: ___________. It would be great to hit the open road with a few friends and do nothing but drive and see new places.
B: Yeah, I think that would be awesome. Let’s plan something.
A: So what’s the craziest pit stop you have made on a road trip?
B: You mean like stopping for gas and snacks?
A: Yeah.
B: Well, I stopped in a strange town called Skull Valley Arizona. It’s a really small town with one gas station. When I went to the bathroom, the door locked me in and I couldn’t get out for like 5 minutes.
A: What? ____________. That’s crazy.
A: Have you ever been overseas, Chris?
B: Um, yeah - I went to Europe with my family when I was in high school.
A: Wow. __________. Where did you go in Europe?
B: We went to France, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands.
A: You didn't go to Italy or Spain?
B: No, unfortunately. I'd love to go to those countries one day.
A: Yeah, so would I.
