This is a short listening about the effect on our health of consuming too many calories.
Before listening, discuss these questions with your partner / group:
- Do you enjoy eating in restaurants and fast food outlets?
- Is restaurant food more or less healthy than home-cooked food?
- Do you ever look at the nutritional value labels on packaged foods?
- Are there certain foods that you avoid because you think they are bad for your health?
As you listen, try to work out the answer to this question:
