How to Understand and Use Basic Statistics
Get into groups and discuss what you know about basic statistics. Go through any of your notes on the subject and discuss them in great detail, being sure to add more notes as you discuss. Try to consider the following questions as you talk:
- Where do you see uses for basic statistics in everyday life? In what new areas of your own life can you utilize statistics?
- In what skills related to statistics do you feel comfortable?
- In what ways can you improve your statistics knowledge? How will this happen?
