For your Unit 4 writing assignment, you are going to write a paragraph about who should buy a child's first car. Be sure to follow the basic paragraph structure that you learned in Unit 1.
Paragraph Structure
Topic Sentence
- This sentence has the main idea of the paragraph. In this paragraph, your main idea should be who should pay for a child's first car.
Supporting Sentences
- Explain your main point(s) from the topic sentence with support and examples. For example, explain your reasons for your opinion.
- Use as much description as possible with adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases.
- Be careful with capitalization and punctuation.
Concluding Sentence
- A final sentence expressing how you feel about the subject.
