Students work in pairs and open the corresponding pages.
- On each student page is a collection of pictures of well-known things or people.
- When it is a student's turn, they first give a general clue about their picture.
Example:
- Student One: "Ok, this is a man."
- The partner then has to figure out who or what the picture is of by using questions that use relative clauses. The questions can only be answered with yes / no / not really / sort of / etc.
Example:
- Student Two: "Is it someone that has an important job?"
- Student One: "Yes."
- Student Two: "Is he someone that speaks English?"
- Student One: "No."
- Student Two: "Is he someone that we always see on TV?"
- Student One: "Not really."
