You will be able to
- enhance listening skills by watching and listen and repeat examples of making polite suggestions
- notice and produce connected speech (eg What if….? becomes Wadif…);
- pronounce and use suggestions such as What if we how about we.., why don't we what do you think about V+ing…);
- enhance listening skills by watching about and use and pronounce the idiom to be swamped appropriately;
- make and respond positively and negatively to polite suggestions;
- demonstrate listening comprehension and a knowledge of basic writing conventions by completing dictations of several sentences;
- compare the use of suggestions and responses in your language with that of the US;
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
