Objectives and Sequence: This lesson is intended to be used as a review of Grammar 8-1.

Intro Student 1 Student 2

  • Students work with a partner. Each partner opens the corresponding page.
  • On each page, students are presented with two sections. In the first section, ten adjectives are listed. In the second section, ten questions are listed along with their suggested answers. Each question is asking about how something is done. As such, each question must be answered with an adverb.
  • Student One asks the question on his or her page. Student Two answers the question, using the adjective on his or her page, but changing it to its adverb form. Student One listens and ensures that Student Two's answer resembles the suggested answer on his or her page.
  • Students should alternate asking and answering questions.
