To proofread means to read something in order to find and correct mistakes. If you practice proofreading a paragraph that was written by another student, you will get better at finding the mistakes in your own writing. In this exercise, you will be proofreading another student's opinion paragraph about whether or not parents should buy their child's first car. This is also called peer editing.
