Activity 1:
Discuss these questions in your pairs/groups:
- What does the graph show?
- What will you have to do in your essay:
- describe change over time?
- make a comparison?
- What unit of measurement is used in the graph?
- How would you describe the percentage of people giving ‘Location’ as the main reason for choosing a university?
- How do you correctly use the words ‘per cent’ and ‘percentage’?
- You will write two main paragraphs in your essay. How would you divide the data in the graph into two groups?
