Be Going To

Be going to is used to express a decision or intention made before the moment of speaking. This is used commonly to describe plans.

    • When are you going to take the patient’s braces off? (Tell me your plan.)
    • When she graduates university, she is going to start work as a nurse. (This is her plan.)
    • He's going to call us later. (This is his plan.)
