Lego is a popular toy that many children, even adults, have spent long hours playing with. Kids construct buildings, vehicles, and all kinds of things from the plastic bricks. Lego bricks can be used in many ways. Take a look at some of the amazing things that have been created. They can all actually work, too!

Lego Inventions

Twin-Lens Camera

Twin-Lens Camera

This Lego camera was designed and built by the talented photographer, Carl-Frederic Salicath. The camera was built to look like the big cameras from the past. It is simple to build and simple to use!

These photos were taken using the Lego Camera. Carl-Frederic used a mirror, a lens from his binoculars, and a whole lot of lego to build this camera.

Robotic Lego Arm

Engineering student Max Shepard created this amazing, functioning robotic arm. Though it can only hold up to a couple of pounds, it can hold cups and water bottles without breaking them. It can also move, grip and twist, just like your own hand!

3D Milling Machine

3D printing is one of the coolest new technologies. A milling machine helps cut and carve out shapes from a material. Arthur Sacek made this machine using almost only Lego bricks. The only thing he added was a drill bit to carve out the foam. The green foam is usually used in flower bouquets , but the Lego milling machine uses it to cut out a shape. Watch and see!
