Work with a partner or group. Discuss answers to the following questions:
  • Have you ever been heartbroken?
  • Can you see yourself at some point getting divorced in your life?
  • Do you have a crush on anyone at the moment?
  • Do find it difficult to work up enough courage to ask people out?
  • Have you ever been on a blind date? If not, would you consider trying it?
  • Have you ever grown apart from someone? If so, who was it? Why did you grow apart from them?
  • What's the best way to meet and get to know members of the opposite sex?
  • Have you ever fallen in love? Why or why not?
  • What is something that happened in your past that you still can't get over?

Read the sentences below. What do the words in blue mean? You might find it helpful to use a dictionary. Discuss your answers with a partner or group.
