For your Unit 1 writing assignment, you are going to write a paragraph describing the driving habits of people in your country. Be sure to follow the basic paragraph structure that we have studied.
Paragraph Structure
Topic Sentence
- This sentence has the main idea of the paragraph. In this paragraph, the main idea should be how people drive and how it makes you feel.
Supporting Sentences
- Explain your main point(s) from the topic sentence with support and examples. For example, describe different actions of drivers, the consequences of these actions and so on.
- Use as much description as possible with adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases.
Concluding Sentence
- A final sentence expressing how you feel about the subject.
