Teacher Notes

Objectives & Sequence: This lesson is intended to be used as a review of Grammar 1-2.

The following vocabulary words are used in this activity:

Students work in pairs.

For each name or pronoun listed, students need to change the four model sentences below. Answers must be spoken out loud. Students can listen to check whether their answers were correct or not.

If a subject pronoun is listed as in the first example below, students should practice changing it to an object pronoun, possessive pronoun, or possessive adjective.

Like in the second example, if a name is listed, students should practice using the name in the sentences without the use of pronouns.

Although not a focus of this activity, teachers may like to point out that the verbs "have" and "belong to" need to be changed to their singular or plural forms (have/has, belong to/belongs to), depending on the pronoun/name.
