- What’s your favourite holiday or celebration? Why do you like it so much?
- Has that holiday or how you celebrate it changed since you were a child?
- Why are holidays important to people? What benefits do we get from them?
- Are there any holidays and festivals that are only celebrated in your city, town or local area? Describe them to your partner(s). Talk about what they are about, what kinds of activities you do, etc.
Part Two: Getting Ready to Speak
In this lesson, you are going to give a short presentation on a unique holiday from your country or culture.
