Remember what "plural" means? Plural means many of something! Plural count nouns have an -s or -es added to the end of their singular (one) form. For nouns that end in -ey, most of them are changed into -ies in their plural form.

Sometimes, plural nouns do "not" end in -s or -es! Nouns that do not follow these rules are called "irregular".
