6-6 Future Continuous

Remember, when we want to talk about something that is happening right now, we use the present continuous tense. When we want to talk about something that was happening in the past, we use the past continuous tense. There is one continuous tense left! What if we want to talk about something that will be happening in the future?

When we want to talk about something that will be happening in the future, we use the future continuous tense! The future continuous tells us about an action that is not happening now, but will be happening at some point in the future. For example: “I can’t go to the party tomorrow because I will be taking a test.”

We already know how to form the present and past continuous, but the future continuous is a little bit different.
