description Exercise
There are many kinds of fun indoor games. There are cool puzzle games. There are fun card games. There are funny board games. There are quiet building games. There are noisy acting games.
Do you like jigsaw puzzles? It is a picture that has been cut into pieces. Sometimes there are one hundred pieces. Sometimes there are five thousand pieces. You look at the picture and try to put it together.
This is a Rubik's Cube. It is also a kind of puzzle. It has six sides, and six colours. You have to move the cube pieces. You move the pieces to make one side the same colour. Each side should be a different colour. It is tricky to solve.
Do you like playing card games? A deck of cards has fifty-two cards. Snap is an extremely easy card game. Each person has some cards. Each person puts a card down. You keep putting cards down until a number matches. If the numbers are matching you say, "snap." The winner is the person with all the cards.
Do you have a yo-yo? A yo-yo is a toy with circles, and a string. You roll the string around the middle of the yo-yo. You can then toss the yo-yo down and try to catch it. You can do tricks with a yo-yo. Do you know any yo-yo tricks?
Another indoor game is charades. In this game you are not allowed to talk. You can only move your body. You have to act out the word that is written on a card. Your team tries to guess the word. If you talk, you lose.
Another fun indoor activity is to build something. You can build a fort out of boxes. You can build a castle out of cake. You can build a plane out of blocks. Lego blocks are my favourite.
