There are many superheroes. They all try to make the world a better place. But for every superhero, there is a villain! They make life hard for superheroes.
Do you know what a villain is? A villain is a bad person.
Villains are bad because they want to be powerful. They want to be cruel to people. They want to commit crimes. There are many kinds of villains.
Some villains steal. They take things that are not theirs. They do not care who they hurt. It is up to the superhero to get these things back.
Some villains are bullies. They are mean to people. They try to ruin the hero's day. It is up to the hero to save him or herself and others.
Some villains are tyrants. They want power and control over people. Some want power over a city. Some want power over a country. Some want power over the whole world!
Tyrants often have plans for the new world. They are not nice! It is the superhero's job to save the world from the tyrant's plans.
Lots of superheroes have a nemesis. It is their biggest rival. It is the villain that they dislike the most. It is the villain that they always fight against.
Superman's nemesis is Lex Luthor. He is very smart. He is very dangerous. He hates Superman. He will do anything to hurt him.
Luthor is very rich. He has lots of people who work for him. They are called his henchmen. They do all his dirty work.
Otis works for Luthor. He is a bumbling, stupid henchman. He does lots of little jobs to help Luthor with his evil plans.
Villains always do bad things. It is up to superheroes to save the day!
