A helping verb can work with the main verb to tell about an action. The helping verb always comes before the main verb.
The following words are often used as helping verbs: am, is, are, was, were, has, have, had, and will. Sometimes another word comes between a main verb and a helping verb.
Our class is organizing a large picnic.
We will invite our family and friends.
The class will certaintly have a lot to do.
