The frequency adverb goes before the main verb (except the main verb “TO BE”).
El adverbio de frecuencia va antes del verbo principal (un excepción es el verbo principal de “TO BE”).
- I usually go shopping on Saturday.
- We never eat breakfast before 9 on Sunday.
- Ana often walks to school.
- The teacher always gives us homework.
- Bill and Kate are never late for school.
- I’m usually with friends on Friday night.
Occasionally, sometimes, often, frequently and usually can also go at the beginning or end of a sentence.
“Occasionally, sometimes, often, frequently” y “usually” también pueden estar al principio o al final de la oración.
- Sometimes they watch television.
- They watch television sometimes.
- I play basketball occasionally.
- Occasionally I play basketball.
