B: My name is Jason. You?

A: Jeanine.

B: What do you do, Jeanine?

A: I'm a dentist. What about you?

B: I'm a teacher. I teach high school math.

A: Nice to meet you!

B: Nice to meet you too!

mechanic

Justine & Paul & Brenda

A: Brenda, do you know Paul?

B: No, I don't. Hi, Paul!

C: Hey Brenda. Nice to meet you. How do you know Justine?

B: Oh, we're friends from school. You?

C: We work together.

B: So you're a cook too?

C: No, I'm a waiter at the same restaurant. What about you? What do you do for a living?

B: I'm a web designer. I make websites for a living.

C: Cool!

mechanic

Kim & Jenna

A: What time do you wake up every day, Jenna?

B: Well, you know I'm a baker, right? Bakers usually wake up pretty early. Work for me starts every day at 4 AM, so I wake up at 3 AM.

A: 3 AM? Seriously?

B: Yes, seriously.

A: Wow. That's amazing. Do you like it?

B: Well, it has good and bad things. In the mornings, the streets are very quiet so driving is pretty fun. I finish work every day at 12 PM.

A: What are the bad things?

B: Well, it's difficult to see my friends and family with my schedule.

A: I see.

mechanic

Wendy & Alan

A: What do you do at your job as a receptionist?

B: I answer the phone for the office.

A: What else do you do?

B: I read and write emails, make photocopies, help customers...

A: Do you like it?

B: Yes, I do. It's great.
