Use
Begin the first word a speaker says with a capital letter. Put end punctuation marks before the ending quotation mark.
"My pet cat likes to drink milk," says Molly.
Our teacher asked, "Who likes to eat pizza?"
"Is it going to snow today?" Chelsea asked her mom.
