We use the Present Continuous to talk about actions happening now:
Jack is driving.
Mark is speaking to his mom on the phone.
We are listening to the teacher.
They aren't driving safe.
Have + things / family members is not an action. Do not use the Present Continuous for this meaning:

- Susan is having a new car.
