Sometimes it is difficult to see how science is all around us. Basic fields apply to areas of life you might not have ever imagined. You will watch a video which chronicled a day with students from L.A.'s Promise Manual Arts High School at a biohackathon.

Exercise
Try to consider a unique career you or someone else might hold in a STEM discipline. Try to think of a career that no one else in your class will consider. Have a conversation with a partner about this career, or present the career to your class.
