This is a short exercise to give you practice at extracting information from a text and adding it to a table.
Before attempting the exercise, discuss these questions in pairs.
- Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they and why do you do them?
- What other words are used to mean ‘hobby’?
- What is ‘do-it-yourself’? What kinds of things might you do yourself, and why?
- What do you use the Internet for, apart from studying?
- How much time each week do you spend on your hobbies? Would you like to spend more, or less time?
