We've all read about the different heroes in our social studies class. What makes past heroes different from the heroes today?

In this writing activity you will be writing an essay "comparing and contrasting a hero from the past with a hero from the present". For this exercise, choose heroes that are well-known public figures and not personal acquantainces (such as your mother or uncle).
