As you know, adjectives give more information about a noun, and in English they usually appear in front of the noun.

  • My brother’s family has a big dog.
  • The city has two beautiful beaches right downtown.

Adjectives do not change their form if the noun after them is plural.

  • That was an interesting movie.
  • We saw two interesting movies at the film festival (not interestings movies).

Using Two or More Adjectives

When there are two adjectives before the noun, you usually connect them with a comma.

  • We usually think of a desert as a hot, dry place.
  • She loves to wear beautiful, expensive shoes.
