When people talk to you they ask questions. The following are the question words that we use in English.

Here are some dialogues of two people speaking. Listen to the dialogue and repeat with a partner.


Lenny: Give Mr. Adam some money.
Carl: How much?
Lenny: $10.00

Lenny: Go talk to Mr. Adam.
Carl: Who?
Lenny: Mr. Adam. 

Lenny: Go talk to Mr. Adam.
Carl: Why?
Lenny: He wants to talk to you.

Lenny: Go talk to Mr. Adam.
Carl: When?
Lenny: Now

Lenny: Go talk to Mr. Adam.
Carl: What time?
Lenny: 10:30 AM

Lenny: Go talk to Mr. Adam.
Carl: Where?
Lenny: His classroom.

Carl: What did you say? What? Huh?

Lenny: Mr. Adam is taking students to the restaurant.
Carl: How many?
