Jim, is there any way you could open the window for me? It's pretty hot in here.

Jim: Actually, this window doesn't open, but I can turn on the air conditioner.

Person 1: So Emily, what are you doing this weekend?

Emily: Actually, I don't have any plans. You?

Person 1: Well, I was thinking about seeing a movie. Would you like to join me?

Emily: Yeah, that'd be fun. I'll call you tomorrow.

Person 2: Jack!

Jack: What?

Person 2: Stop singing. I can't focus.

Jack: Well then, can we turn on some music?

Person 2: Okay.

Person 3: Sean, what's the advantage of a space elevator over spaceships?

Sean: A space elevator would be much cheaper.

Person 3: Why would it be cheaper?

Sean: Because fuel for spaceships is really expensive.

Person 4: Dad, have you made your decision yet?

Dad: Decision? What decision?

Person 4: About my birthday present. Can I please have a car? I really, really want one.

Dad: Oh, that decision. I'm not sure, Emily.

Security: What do you have in this bottle, sir?

Person 5: That's just shampoo.

Security: You'll have to throw it away. Liquids are not allowed on the plane.

Person 5: But...

Security: Throw it away, sir.

Person 5: Fine.
