It's a rainy day. You can't play outside. You are stuck in the house. What do you do?
How about pretend play? Use your imagination and make some fun games!
Everyone has old boxes and tape in their house. They can be more than just old boxes.
A box can become a place to hide. You can make a fort and play games inside. Bring in your blankets and make it cozy.
You can make a castle and protect it. Who will be the king or queen of the castle? Who is trying to take the castle?
A box can be an airplane. You can put wings on your box. How fast can you fly?
A box can be a car. You can put wheels on the side of your box. You can draw some doors. You could cut out some holes. You might have to make the engine noises yourself!
Finished with your boxes? Create a cubby to store your things in. You will never lose anything.
If you don't have any boxes, why not play dress up? Grab your favourite costume and get in character.
Why not have a tea party? A tea party is when you invite people to drink tea.
You could invite some of your toys too. I'm sure they would love to come!
There are so many fun pretend games to play. What fun games can you create?
