Use
We use the Present Continuous to talk about actions happening now:
It's snowing right now.
You're driving fast.
I'm listening to music.
We use the Present Simple to talk about usual actions, habits, routines, etc.:
She always cooks really delicious food.
I work at the high school.
Turtles don't walk fast.
Always use the Present Simple with have + things / family members:
- She is having an expensive cell phone.
- She has an expensive cell phone.
- I am having new clothes.
- I have new clothes.
