Person 1: I wish I understood this. What are you talking about, John?

John: Well, I'm taking an important test tomorrow, and I'm worried that I'll get a bad score.

Person 1: What subject is the test in?

John: It's a math test. If it were any other subject, I wouldn't be worried. I'm just not very good at math.

Person 1: Have you thought about asking for help? Maybe if you got some help, you would understand the material better.

John: And if I understood it better, I would do well on the test. Hey, you're really good at math. Can you help me?

Person 1: Sorry, I have to work tonight, so I don't have any time.

John: Oh, darn. I think I'm in trouble.

Person 1: What's wrong, Hilary?

Hilary: Oh, nothing. I just wish I were in Paris right now.

Person 1: Paris? Why?

Hilary: Yes, it's my favourite city. It's so romantic and beautiful.

Person 1: What would you do if you were there?

Hilary: Oh, everything. If I were there, I would walk along the Seine, eat delicious food, and go to museums.

Person 1: It sounds great. Have you ever been there before?

Hilary: Just in my dreams.

Person 1: So why don't you go?

Hilary: Well, first, I'm too busy. I can't just leave my job. And second, it's too expensive.

Person 1: I see.

Hilary: But if I had the time and the money, I would buy a ticket today.

Person 1: Hey Eddie, what's your biggest wish?

Eddie: Um, I don't know. To have a million dollars?

Person 1: What would you do if you had a million dollars?

Eddie: I'm not sure. I guess if I were rich, I would travel to different beaches all over the world.

Person 1: Really? Why?

Eddie: You know, I love surfing. So if I had that much money, I would surf as much as possible. There are so many amazing places I want to surf at.

Person 1: Anything else?

Eddie: Yes. I would also build a house if I had a million dollars.

Person 1: That sounds pretty cool.

Eddie: Yes. It's too bad that it's impossible.
