For this unit's project, you will research about one form of transportation. There are many types of transportation you can choose from! Here are some ideas:
- Cars
- Airplanes
- Helicopters
- Ships
- Motorcycles
- Bicycles
- Skateboards
Exercise
Once you have chosen a type of transportation, use the 'Writing' sheet and write about how it works today. For example, this is what a car looks like today. It uses gas, has seatbelts, and has an outside cover. It can also travel very fast.
Next, find out what the history of that transportation was like. Some things to research about are:
- What did it look like?
- How did it work?
- Who invented it?

The oldest cars in the world looked like this. They were very slow, and the oldest cars used steam to power their engines.
