Some pets live in the house. Some pets live outside. But some pets live in water. What do they need to live?
Some water pets like to live outside. They live in a pond. You can make a pond in your garden. It can be big. It can be small.
Do you want your water pets inside? Some can live in a fishbowl. What animals live in a fishbowl? That's right! Fish.
A fishbowl is a bowl full of water. It is made out of glass. People put stones at the bottom of the glass. It looks like the bottom of the sea.
A tank is a good place for water pets. A tank is bigger than a fishbowl. There is lots of room for toys. It is more fun for the fish.
Some tanks have bubbles. They keep the air fresh. They keep the tank clean.
Fish are not the only water pets. Turtles are another type of water pet. They live in tanks, too. They need lots of warmth. They like to sit in the sun.
Turtles do not swim like fish. They do not have fins. They use their feet to swim. They are slower than fish.
Water pets are fun. But they need a clean place to live. Look after your water pets.
