Using Can and Could
Now that we've learned about how to form sentences using can and could, let's learn how they are used.
Present Ability with Can
Can and can't are used to talk about things you can do right now, in the present! Another word for things that you can do is "ability." Take a look at the following two examples:

I can run for over 10 miles without getting tired!

She can't swim very well.
