Person 1: So Brian, where have you traveled in the world?

Brian: I haven't traveled very much, actually. I've traveled a bit in my home country, Canada. But I've only been outside of Canada once.

Person 1: Where did you go?

Brian: I went to Las Vegas when I was a kid. You know, in the United States. My older sister got married there, so I went for her wedding.

Person 1: Did you have fun?

Brian: Yes, it was really interesting. We saw lots of cool hotels, and we watched some concerts and magic shows. It was really exciting.

Person 1: So why haven't you traveled anywhere else?

Brian: I think the main reason is I'm still in school. I want to focus on finishing university. My friends and I are planning to go on a backpacking trip to Europe when we graduate.

Person 1: That sounds like fun.

Brian: Yes, I think we're going to have a lot of great experiences when we go. I can't wait for it.

Anna, have you ever been to another country?

Yes, I have been to a few countries. My mother works for an international company, so we moved a lot when I was a child.

Can you tell us some of the places you've lived?

Sure. Well, I was born in New York, but my family moved to London when I was just one year old. We lived there for about four years.

Do you remember anything about it?

No, not really. After London, we came back to New York for a few years, then we moved to Tokyo.

Wow! What was it like?

It was great. I was still young, but I have a lot of good memories from my time there. I made many friends and did lots of fun things.

Is there anywhere you haven't been that you would like to go to?

I actually want to go back to London. I was too young to remember much, but my mom really loved living there, so I want to see it again.

Jake, have you traveled a lot?

Jake: Yes, I love traveling. So I've been to many countries.

Person 1: Can you tell us about some of them?

Jake: Yeah, of course. I've been to Spain, France, and Italy in Europe. I've also been to Seoul, Korea, and my favorite place I've been is Chile.

Person 1: Why is Chile your favorite?

Jake: Well, first of all, it's a beautiful country. There are mountains, beaches, jungles, lots of great natural places.

Person 1: Were you there for a long time?

Jake: Yes, I went there to teach English. So I was there for a year. I was able to learn about the culture and history of Chile. It was really interesting to me.

Person 1: What were the people like?

Jake: Oh, Chilean people are awesome. Everyone is friendly and outgoing. They really made me feel welcome in their country. If you haven't been there, I strongly recommend visiting. It's a great place.
