Discuss the following questions with your partner(s).

  1. What similarities are there between the registration form that you used to apply for courses at your school and the form in this lesson? What about differences?
  2. On the form, there is a section asking for the status of the applicant. Why do you think an educational course would ask this?
  3. On the registration form, you probably noticed that the Kwak’wala language program is taught through in-person classes and online classes. What do you think are the benefits and drawbacks of each method of instruction? Which would you prefer? Why?
