Discuss the following questions with a partner or group:
- Is it okay for a country to spend billions of dollars on space travel if there is poverty?
- What are countries trying to learn in space? In other words, why are they spending so much money on space?
- What should a country’s priority be: education, health, science and technology, sports, or safety and security?
- How would you feel if your country spent billions of dollars on space travel but things like roads or traffic lights were not in good condition?
