You will find very different plants depending on the environment you are in. It is important to know how to describe the environments when talking about plants and their adaptations.
There are some plants that are unique to their habitats. Here are the names of some of these plants that are commonly talked about.

aquatic | Aquatic means to do with the water. When talking about plants, aquatic refers to plants that grow and live in the water. |
barren | Barren land is land that plants cannot grow on. Usually land that is barren is very dry. |
fertile | Fertile is the opposite of barren. On fertile land, plants can grow very easily and well. |
indigenous | Indigenous means native to that place. An indigenous plant grows naturally in that environment. |
lush | Land that is lush is full of green plants and especially trees. |
