Phrasal Verbs Students learn and practice the use of several phrasal verbs. Building Adjectives Students practice adding suffixes to nouns and verbs in order to produce commonly-used adjectives. Oral Presentations Students prepare 5-minute presentations showcasing their city and explaining why it would be a suitable host of a major event. This assignment combines this unit's focus on descriptive vocabulary with the previous unit's focus on expressing and supporting opinion.
